The Kickstarter has completely stalled. It looks very unlikely that the project will succeed unless it can pick up momentum again. To help this I’m doing two things. First I’m adding a link below, and to the Kickstarter page, to a version of the game that you can print out at home. It has no board, and only a portion of the art, and the cards have color words on them instead of actually being colored, but it”s fully playable! Secondly, I will be offering a new 10 dollar reward level. This reward will be a color, full art, print and play version of Space Madness with no board. You just need a six sided dice and some time to cut out the cards and you’ll be ready to go. There is a link to the print and play version of Space Madness along with the rules on the kickstarter page:
Thanks again to everyone who has supported the project. The best way anyone can help at this point is just getting the word out there.
Everything is very close. I’ve figured out that the goal of my Kickstarter project will have to be $19,000. I was really hoping to launch everything next week but I was unaware that registering with Amazon payment services would take up to 7 days. The Kickstarter approval process has to wait until after Amazon has approved me. For these reasons it might not be until Monday the 15th before everything goes live. Here is a breakdown of costs for the project:
My goal is to post the game to Kickstarter sometime next week! Starting Wednesday if you are in the Bay Area you can contact me and I’ll drive out to play Space Madness the Board Game with you. It’s at its best with 3-4 players although 2 players is also fun.
There are still some changes to be made but here’s the video!
Here is what I’m planning to use for the Kickstarter project. This will be prominently displayed at the top of the page. I would love to know what you think about it. Also, what are peoples feelings in regards to the font? Any feedback is appreciated!
This is another option:
